Keemun Loose Tea

Keemun Tea was originally produced in Anhui Province Qimen (Keemun) County.  Starting out as the original English Breakfast Tea, prices climbed quickly until it only accounted for a small portion of the English Breakfast Teas you see today.  Keemun holds a special place amongst tea enthusiasts;  in China, Keemun is considered one of the ten sacred teas, worldwide, it’s considered one of the top 3 black teas.  

Traits: rich body, golden red liquor, silky texture. rosy aroma, slight sweetness, mellow taste, no astringency, no bitterness
